We have a number of parish groups that focus on many different aspects of parish life.
This team assists parents in the decision to baptise their child and ensure young parents have access to a network to provide practical support.
Pastoral Care for the Sick and Elderly
These Extra Ordinary Ministers carry out the valuable service of taking Holy Communion to the people who are unable to attend Mass.
Our Rites of Christian Initiation of Adults group assists with the process for preparing and welcoming new members into the Catholic Church.
The volunteers in our catering group help with providing refreshments and catering for funerals.
Communion host bakers
Members of our parish have baked Communion Hosts have been made by members of our parish since the 1970s, as we assisted the Sisters of Mercy in the Convent. This group of ladies produce Hosts for the Penola, Milicent and Mount Gambier parishes.
Our Liturgy committee meet once a month to plan interesting and inspiring services including music, commentaries, prayers and decorations in St Paul’s Church.
St Paul’s Indoor Bowls Club
This social group holds matches in St Paul’s Hall each Thursday night from 7pm, and practice each Tuesday at 7pm between March and August. Everyone’s welcome to join.
Parish Pastoral Council
The council assists our parish priest in his responsibilities for the long and short term pastoral goals of the parish, supports our volunteer groups and responds the hopes, ideas, needs and concerns of parishioners.
Parish Finance Council
The council assists our Parish Priest in his responsibilities for financial and administrative matters.
